A personal project to identify 1000 species of plants, birds, mammals and insects, mostly within 5 miles (8km) of base – Baie-D’Urfé and the nearby West Island of Montreal.

I have been sharing one new species each day but intend to switch to one new species as they are identified around the 500 mark.
